Sales & Event Manager

As the Sales & Event Manager of the Highland Conference Center, Jill will work closely with your throughout all the stages of planning your event. She will ensure your satisfaction by seeing to it that all of the details and special requests are met.  Jill manages a well-trained team of servers, event staff and bartenders to help her implement and run events. Jill is very passionate about finding creative solutions to ensure that your event is a success! 

Jill lives in Mitchell with her husband and two children.

Michael Kunze
Set Up Supervisor & Banquet Assistant

As the Set Up Supervisor and Banquet Assistant, Michael is responsible for seeing that all details are in place for your event before your arrival. He assists Jill with supervising events. Michael has a degree in Restaurant & Institution Management and has worked in the restaurant/hotel industry for many years. His experience has given him great attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Michael was born and raised in South Dakota. He has spent the last 13 years in Georgia where he worked for a Design and Home Furnishings company.

Michael has been employed at the Highland Conference Center since October 2008.

Michael enjoys restoring furniture as his hobby. He has also renovated nine homes within the last 16 years. The most recent was a 1880, historic home in Blackshear, GA.
